Readings

Terry is available for readings at libraries, school classrooms, senior centers, museums, book clubs, parks and even cafes!

She has been a featured reader at many venues in Massachusetts including All Small Caps, the Amherst Poetry Festival, the Collected Poets Series, Great Falls Word Festival, the Literary Arts Series in Westborough, the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, the Plymouth Center for the Arts–Art of the Word, Straw Dog Writer’s Guild Author’s Showcase and the Unbuttoned Poetry Series.  She has also read at the Herman Melville House, the Lilly Library, the Berkshire Botanical Gardens and the Emily Dickinson Homestead.

Workshops

Terry offers custom-designed writing workshops of varying lengths depending upon the needs of a group. She is particularly interested in working with middle school and high school students in English and Social Studies as well as fellow seniors. She is developing a new workshop entitled “Memorabilia as Muse” — how family heirlooms, letters, photos, personal government documents and even “junk” can spur memory and stimulate the creative process.  Kindly use the contact page to request a reading or workshop.
